Single-Step Phaseless Contrast-Source Inversion Method for Microwave Imaging
A proper re-formulation of the electromagnetic inverse scattering algorithm is described, starting from the Contrast-Source formulation of the Electric Field Integral Equations (EFIEs), considered for the scattering phenomena. The pro-posed algorithm can be included in the Contrast-Source Inversion methods, by which the full non-linearity of the inverse scattering problem is tackled, starting from the availability of phaseless measurements of the total field, combined with the full-data availability of the incident field. The described method pro-poses a single-step contrast source inversion scheme, in which no phase retriev-al step is involved.
