Building a Bayesian Network for Object Oriented Programming with experts' knowledge

Bayesian Networks have been related to education for several years due to the advantages that this technique offers. Building a Bayesian Network (BN) in the educational domain is laborious. If you do not have a guide for building a BN is even more complex.
The objective of this study is to define a methodology to develop BNs to be implemented in Intelligent Tutoring Systems based on ontologies and experts' knowledge. Also, lay the foundation for automatically building the qualitative part of a BN.
The main contributions of our work are a methodology to build BNs based on experts' knowledge, a formalization of ontologies, and a process formalization of constructing the qualitative part of a BN.
The proposed methodology builds BNs that are useful to infer and diagnose the students' knowledge to decide what are the weak concepts and reinforce them.
