Turing Project: An Open Educational Game to Teach and Learn Programming Logic

This paper aims to demonstrate the proposed educational game, for students who have never had contact or who present some difficulty in programming logic. The game, in a playful and fun way, tries to teach the logic of programming for the students, causing the same to acquire knowledge during the game. The game proposed in this paper is called "Turing Project", an RPG game, in which the student will have the role of the hero collecting scrolls, items and performing missions where he will learn the concepts related to the logic of programming during the gameplay. A subjective experiment was carried out via a questionnaire with 19 users and the main conclusion was that although some users were surprised at first, soon after a brief time they adapted and had a good experience during the game.
