Development of a mobile application: optimization problems for differential calculus
This paper presents the development of a technological tool that results in students learning about the solution of problems of optimization of differential calculus. This work is framed in the research project Learning to solve problems of differential calculation optimization through mobile technology. For this, an analysis of existing tools such as educational applications was required, identifying the characteristics such as: acceptability, navigability, costs, operating system and impact on learning to solve problems. He developed the analysis methodology, where the teacher's requirements are obtained and classified and the service is customized; design, where the technological scenario is defined, and the interfaces and navigability of the application are structured; development, where the design is carried out; performance tests, where the application is emulated and simulated, and the teacher presents elements of improvement, to finally assess its effectiveness; delivery, where the application is delivered in order to help and guide the student in learning problem solving.
